Welcome to OrthoTADS.com!
We have completed the member login area, which gives members access to some new resources, such as the Clinical Forum - a central location for all clinicians to discuss issues concerning Temporary Anchorage Devices regardless of the TAD type or manufacturer; Downloads - a section with files (primarily PDF documents) available for download; and Upcoming Courses - This online calendar will have a listing of the available courses around the world pertaining specifically to Temporary Anchorage Devices up to 18 months in advance.
So from this point forward, you will need to login with your email address and password before you can move past the first page of any section.
It is important to note that the Newsletter Sign Up is completely different than the Member Login. The Newsletter Sign Up is an external program that we use to send you an email with a hyperlink directly to the updated section when a substantial amount of content has been added, as well as to send the Newsletter. Please sign up for the newsletter to the right. We will not share your information with anyone.
The Ortho TADs website has been designed to be your source of information for orthodontic temporary anchorage
devices (Ortho TADs) - the treatment modality revolutionizing orthodontics and allowing orthodontists to
accomplish goals previously unattainable. Since there is so little information on Ortho
TADs currently available in any one place, we decided to systematically compile the available information in one
location. Please take a moment to visit our Sponsors who are helping to make this information available.
The site provides a comprehensive source of information on Ortho TADS, including:
- Historical perspective and definition of orthodontic anchorage;
- Historical development of Temporary Anchorage Devices including the definition, classification, and suggested nomenclature;
- Pertinent scientific data governing the successful placement and use of TADs;
- Clinical protocol including indications/contraindications, diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical procedure, attachment mechanisms, biomechanics, removal procedure, and potential complications;
- Clinical examples of Ortho TAD treatment;
- Literature references;
- Resources that will include upcoming a clinical discussion forum, lectures/courses, downloads, products, and useful links.
- Updates that will include a monthly newsletter and an archive of frequently asked questions;
We welcome any feedback or suggestions that you may have about our website webmaster@orthotads.com.
Although we cannot reply to all emails for advice, we are creating a database of questions, which we will attempt to
answer in upcoming newsletters and/or archive in the FAQs.
